Produced by evangelist Pat Robertson's CBN Network, \"Another Life\" initially emerged as a daily religious serial, which attempted to add a touch of \"Christian morality\" to traditional soap stories. Centering on the beleaguered Davidson family of Kingsley, Virginia, \"Another Life\" faced low-ratings and soon segued into more typical soapy fare, as murders, kidnappings, and an extremely bizarre story about a demonic cult leader highlighted its final years.
