入围2020年华沙电影节纪录片竞赛 “The best thing about chickens is that they do a lot of listening, and they don’t do a lot of talking”. For two months three chickens were the closest companions of the director on the beautiful beach in Jilirr, on the western coast of Australia, a deserted region forgotten by tourists. Warwick Thornton, who has won awards at major festivals around the world, reached a crossroads in his life. He started asking himself questions he never had time for. Going to a remote place, he hoped that the power of wild nature would heal his mind, body and spirit, tired from living in the fast lane with an excess of technology. The experience was not easy or predictable. But it was life-changing. The six half-hour parts follow his deep and personal journey of transformation, to heal and change his life while he still can. “This is one of the most important projects of my life. It’s about my life. It is my life”.
