简介：Deborah Smith Ford (born Deborah Jean Smith) is from Upstate New York. Her parents are Richard Charles Smith, a Chemical Engineer, and Betty Jane Pike Smith. The family lived on an apple farm and is the inspiration for her first book "The Little Apple." In her early school years, Ford and her family moved to Daytona Beach, Florida.
