简介：Born and raised in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada; Nelson is the middle of three brothers. His parents Frank and Linda were both civil servants. His mother Linda, for a time, worked as secretary to Prime Minister Pierre Trudeau. His father Frank was a federal government employee and was also a prominent election campaign manager.
