简介：He attended high school in Baesweiler from 1985 to 1994. After graduating he spent one year doing civil service. He then served a six month internship with media-impulse before entering the Academy of Television & Film (HFF/M) in Munich in 1996 to study Directing. He was awarded the "Eastman Förderpreis 2000" for his movie "Schule".
