简介：Rodney Hide is a former New Zealand politician. Born in Canterbury in the South Island in 1956, he studied zoology and botany at the University of Canterbury and resource management at Lincoln College before taking up a teaching position at Lincoln. He later completed a masters in economics at Montana State University.
