简介：He and Fern Andra was passenger when a plane piloted by Lothar von Richthofen -- brother of Manfred von Richthofen -- experienced engine failure and crashed on 4 July 1922. Von Richthofen was killed in the crash. Andra spent a year recovering from her injuries; Georg dying a day later from internal injuries.
