简介：A New York native who went to school for accounting and traded in his CPA to get into TV Production. Katz was hired by former NBC Sports executive, Don Ohlmeyer, and soon became the production manager for all of Ohlmeyer's events. Katz moved to Los Angeles in 1987 and worked for one season on the CBS late-night series, Top of the Pops.
