He was a director and producer, known for The Right Person (1955), The Young and the Guilty (1958) and The Infinite Shoeblack (1952). He was married to Joan Miller and Myfanwy Jones. He died on November 10, 1998 in Chipping Norton, Oxfordshire, England.
