简介：Composer and songwriter ("I'm Getting Sentimental Over You", the Tommy Dorsey theme), conductor and arranger, he was educated at the Boston Conservatory and studied with Toch and Strelitzer. Between 1931-1934 he arranged for dance orchestras, and then for Andre Kostelanetz and CBS between 1934-1936.
