简介：She attended but did not finish art and media schools - António Arroio College, ArCo, Portuguese Conservatory's Cinema School. Her capabilities and understanding of filmmaking, however, were tested in her early work as production assistant to directors Eduardo Geada in Temos Festa, and Fonseca e Costa in Yvone Faz Tudo, before 1981.
