简介：Born in Detroit, Michigan, Chris Gardner spent most of his childhood in inner-city public schools until he received a scholarship to attend Cranbrook; a prestigious boarding school. It was there that he discovered his love for acting. He graduated and went on to study at New York University's Tisch School of the Arts in Manhattan.
