简介：Dick Allen was the classic example of a spoiled athlete. Allen had all the talent in the world, but was an enigma, playing when the mood hit him. Drafted by the Philadelphia Phillies, Allen was a vital cog in the Phillies near pennant run of 1964. Allen stayed with the Phils until 1970, when he was traded to the St. Louis Cardinals.
