简介:After the war, Jürgen Frohriep involved in amateur theater movement of the FDJ. Although he completed any professional training as an actor, he was hired in 1951 at the Berlin theater of friendship. Later, additional appearances at various theaters in the GDR. Late fifties, entrusted him with Konrad Wolf, the lead role in his anti-war movie star (1959). The film is meant for the professional Frohriep breakthrough. As a permanent member of the DEFA ensembles he was often on the type of roles soldier transferred. In Wolf Among Wolves (1965, based on a novel by Hans Fallada) played Frohriep an officer of the Black Reichswehr.
