简介：Maurice Herzog was born on January 15, 1919 in Lyon, Rhône, France. He was a writer, known for Refuges (1963), Victoire sur l'Annapurna (1953) and Darwin, la cordillière secrète (2010). He was married to Elisabeth Gamper and Marie-Pierre de Cossé-Brissac. He died on December 14, 2012 in Neuilly-sur-Seine, Hauts-de-Seine, France.
