简介：A well-known Danish politician, journalist and lawyer. After graduating law school in 1963 he worked in the Danish civil service until shifting to a reporting career for Danmarks Radio in 1971. He was the station's European Community reporter from 1971 to 1979, stationed in Brussels 1973-1976.
