简介：Shalmashi comes from a family with Iranian-Kurdish heritage, but was born in France and raised in the Netherlands. She is one of the most promising filmmakers in Kurdistan and the Netherlands. She wrote and directed several awarded movies. In 2013, the City of Los Angeles officially recognized her 'outstanding achievements'.
