简介：Altenir Silva was born in Paranavai, Brazil. Great-grandson of Germans and Portuguese, he began his film studies in 1983 at Cinemateca de Curitiba (Fundacao Cultural Curitiba), Brazil. The same year he wrote and directed the short film "O Cineasta Voador" among several other short films.
