简介：Born in Sydney, John lived his first eight years of childhood in Boggabri - a country town in NSW - where he first used the family's 8MM film camera in 1956, when floods came close to the town. Then, in 1958, the family moved back to Sydney, living at Balmoral and John went to school in Mosman.
